Ruth Maier was born in Vienna in 1920. After her sister managed to flee to England, her mother and grandmother followed. Ruth alone decided to emigrate to Norway. She initially lived with a family, worked for the Women’s Labour Service, and there met and fell in love with Gunvor Hofmo, until she was arrested in November 1942, deported to Auschwitz and murdered. The production received 2025 Nestroy nominations for Best Off- Production, Best Newcomer in Theatre, Costume and Video, and the Audience Award (Clara Luzia).

Revival in collaboration with XYZ Cultural Association (Claudia Kottal, Anna Kramer, Suse Lichtenberger)
