Carrière. Mariage. Enfant. Comme tant d'hommes avant elle, la protagoniste laisse tout cela derrière elle — mais elle, c'est une femme. Elle veut pourtant continuer à voir son fils. Lorsque son ex-mari découvre son homosexualité, il voit les choses autrement. Débute alors une bataille pour la garde de l'enfant, la lutte d'une femme pour sa liberté et son identité tout en étant mère. Directe, sans concession, Constance Debré décrit le combat d'une femme pour s'affranchir des normes sociales et conquérir son autonomie sexuelle et intellectuelle. Une proposition théâtrale autour de l'identité féminine comme un processus permanent de négociation entre sa propre voix intérieure et une voix extérieure qui lui fait face.

Career, marriage, a child. Like so many men before her, Clémence leaves it all behind. But she still wants to see her son. When her ex-husband finds out she is a lesbian, he suddenly sees things differently. A custody battle, a woman’s struggle for freedom and identity, alongside motherhood.
